Setup

Gather only common or recycled items needed to soak eggshell pieces in different liquids and label each cup for tracking. Place the materials beside a simple recording sheet or blank paper, and prepare the Tooth-Friendly Restaurant challenge in one working area; no digital device is needed.

Activity

  1. Predict which drink, soda, juice, or water, will affect a tooth model the most over time.
  2. Soak eggshell pieces in different liquids and label each cup for tracking.
  3. Check and gently brush the shells after time passes, discovering one softened more than expected, then test a cleaning method on it.
  4. Present a restaurant menu rating each food or drink from tooth-friendly to risky, based on the results.

Done when: The learner completes Tooth-Friendly Restaurant after carrying out this core test: Check and gently brush the shells after time passes, discovering one softened more than expected, then test a cleaning method on it.
