Setup

Gather only common or recycled items needed to build a simple map of the neighborhood using a poster board, marking each delivery stop. Place the materials beside a simple recording sheet or blank paper, and prepare the Tiny Mail Carrier Mission challenge in one working area; no digital device is needed.

Activity

  1. Sort a stack of pretend parcels by size, color, or address into delivery groups.
  2. Build a simple map of the neighborhood using a poster board, marking each delivery stop.
  3. Plan a route between stops, discovering the shortest path crosses through a puddle obstacle, and adjust the path around it.
  4. Deliver every parcel to its address along the final route and report on which path was fastest.
