Setup

Gather play food, menu cards, arrow cards and clear a small work surface. Read the Hungry Robot Restaurant mission aloud, then place the supplies where children can choose and compare them safely.

Activity

  1. Imagine a picky robot customer and talk about what order it might give first, second, and third.
  2. Build a simple menu and sort play food into categories like the robot's favorite fuels.
  3. Take an order and discover the robot wants its fuels served in a specific sequence, requiring the whole tray to be rearranged.
  4. Serve the completed order and describe the sequence out loud to the robot's control panel.
