Setup

Print or hand-copy the essential prompt for AI Creature Field Guide, then set out only paper, pencils, and the common or recycled items needed for one test. Steps

  1. Draw or select a set of fantasy creatures and predict which visual traits an AI classifier will use to sort them into categories.
  2. Train a simple image-classification tool using a chosen set of example creatures for each category.
  3. Test the trained classifier on new creatures it hasn't seen, discover it misclassifies ones that don't match the training examples, and diagnose which bias in the training set caused the error.
  4. Present a field-guide report explaining the classifier's blind spot and one change that would make it fairer.
